Deceased really became narrative masters with 'Supernatural'. Their metal takes inspiration from eldritch horror stories about ghosts, possession and mad scientist's experiments gone horribly awry.

In this FDR dighi release this champion metal st]oryteller (prelude to Oct31?) sounds utterly unassailable; despite its naivety showing through, what you realise is how much inappropriate DR killed it on CD when Relapse shoved it out at the time. LP reissue WANTED!

Now THIS is thrash! Sheepdog was irreplaceable imo, just like how Baloff was to Exodus, or Killian is to Vio-lence. The dude sounds like he gargles rusty nails each morning and his pterodactyl screeches just add to the intensive guitar playing.
