Paul Schwarz Planet Graveyard. What a concept. And what is a Nuclear Exorcist? The journey begins... (note: akin to early Possessed/Sodom/Destruction/Kreator and even Brazillian UG faves like Vulcano as well as the better-known Sepultura, Deceased's earliest emanations have a caution-to-the-wind, ride-roughshod over good taste into white noise hell-heaven quality that makes them a thoroughly distinct prospect even sat next to Luck... Favorite track: Planet Graveyard.

Paul Deceased are incredible. It's time to see how this monstrosity came to be.

Rob Love the Rawness of the Old Deceased Demos, still my favorite songs of the band. Favorite track: The Cemetery's Full.

about

111 hand-numbered copies on picture discs in the same tri-fold packaging as the regular colored vinyl edition but housed in a giant hand-made WOODEN coffin - pushing nearly 3 feet tall (16" W x 32.5" H x 2" D)! Included in the box set is a turntable slipmat, cassette tapes of each demo and a free download card of the three demos. Each coffin is hand-numbered.

HELLS HEADBANGERS is proud to present the ultimate DECEASED demos collection, Demos From the Grave! Comprising a grand total of 35 tracks across three LPs, Demos From the Grave collects DECEASED's cult early demos: 1986's The Evil Side of Religion, 1988's Birth by Radiation, 1989's Nuclear Exorcist and a previously unreleased 10-song rehearsal from 1989. These three demos were the raw, raucous burst of energy which put the name DECEASED on the metal map, and which mapped out their ascent from the death metal underground across the ensuing '90s. Here, the band's grounding in classic, thrashing EARLY death metal is laid bare - scrappy and explosive, but suggesting the classic heavy metal they'd further explore and perfect in the 2000s. And although vocalist/drummer King Fowley had yet to define his signature style of storytelling lyricism, the themes of ultimate horror ran through every nook and cranny of these early songs, vile and visual. With all copies pressed on colored vinyl, Demos From the Grave features a tri-fold cover with all new artwork by Raul Gonzalez Serrano rendered based on the original demo covers.
